Whom Will You Become?
Things are starting to get fun out there, folks.
2021 is bringing the most extraordinary changes our planet has ever known.
And the shifts have only just begun.
My life has changed at a dizzying pace in the past three months. Things I've envisioned for my life for years are happening now.
My relationships are re-organizing to accommodate our new selves, we are moving, and my career opportunities are expanding.
How are things going where you are?
If you feel the movement, I understand that all the change may feel overwhelming--especially when it feels enforced on you, rather than by choice.
The way to get through this is to see any changes happening around you as an opportunity, even if they feel uncomfortable. Because, in reality, what is happening is a big push to move you to where you need to be.
Here is a phrase you can repeat to help you through this:
Now is the time for you to get a big, giant redo of your life. A time to make yourself over. Entirely.
So the question is: with this fresh start, whoM will you become?
When COVID started, I held up a sign on my vlog that said this:
And then I spent the next year telling you that the pandemic was setting us up for the greatest renaissance humankind has ever known.
I prompted you to own your Truth, stand up for yourself and others, and speak out.
After a year and a half of doing that work, it's time to take action.
(If you are new to this, check out my previous articles--it's all there.)
Now, what do you do?
Take some time to take stock of what you want and how you want your new life to look. Look at your relationships, job, home life, and goals, and create the life you want.
The key is to bypass all the doubts in your mind that limit you from seeing your best future. Here are a couple of ways to do this. Chose one to get started:
Visualize your future self. Get quiet and imagine a typical day somewhere in the future. People often chose five years from now. Walk yourself through your day, and use all your senses. How does it smell, what do you eat, what do you see and hear? What do your clothes feel like on your skin? Whom are you embracing?
Or create a vision board. If you use a poster board, make sure you layer it will textures and colors that represent how you want your life to feel. Or you can make a vision board on your computer by pulling images off of Google and arrange them to your liking. You can also put your virtual vision board on your phone and computer screen saver.
More than ever, you need to get quiet, often, and remove all the noise from your head so you can "see" clearly. I call this connecting with Truth and trust me; it is the only way to stay focused on what you need.
Otherwise, you will be pulled in all directions by other's opinions and erroneous beliefs that limit you, which is what happened to so many of us last year when we were glued to the news and social media.
But this is a new season, fresh with opportunities. So first, take the time to focus on what you want, then get out there and make it happen!
I wish you love and peace on your journey. I can't wait to see what you accomplish!
